Exclusiva: Maria Barracuda Dishes On Jotdog’s Tasty New Album

Right out of the gate, Jotdog proved to be one of Mexico’s most innovative new bands. Their 2009 self-titled debut earned Latin Grammy nominations and even scored them a Breakthrough Artist statue at the TeleHit Awards. And now they’re back with a synthpop gem called Turista de Amor. Vocalist Maria Barracuda spoke to us exclusively about what fans can expect from album #2.

“We are very excited about this new record,” she told us. “We have a lot of fun elements and stuff that really shows off our influences.”

Selena Gomez Dismantles ‘The Scene’

It looks like Selena Gomez is ready to go solo…at least in the music world. The Disney pop queen just announced that she is dismantling her band The Scene after a four year partnership.
Currently consisting of Joey Clement on bass, Gregory Garman on drums, and Dane Forrest on keyboards, The Scene have been an ample rhythm section for Selena’s musical ambitions. Clement even co-wrote her “When The Sun Goes Down” single. (more…)

It’s looking like baby boy Justin Bieber is teaming up with party animal Ke$ha on his next studio album release. The singer-songwriter will add her talent to Bieber vocals for an undoubtedly energetic ensemble.

Bieber‘s third studio album, Believe, will contain a track written by none other than Ke$ha herself. She will also be featured on the track, singing a duet with the Biebs, no doubt sizzling it up with her hip hop vibe. NEW YORK — Through a rap verse, Jay-Z has confirmed the birth of “the most beautiful” girl in the world – his newborn daughter.

The song “Glory” made its debut on his social website Life and Times on Monday – two days after he and wife Beyonce gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy.
