Charlie Sheen Pays Tribute to Two and a Half Men Cast at Emmys

As if Ashton Kutcher needed another adoring fan.

“I’m already converted to the cult of Ashton,” Jon Cryer, his Two and a Half Men costar, told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at thePrimetime Emmy Awards at Los Angeles’s Nokia Theatre Sunday night. “You will be too.”
Kutcher, 33, who willmake his debut on the CBS sitcom Monday – a casting change-up following Charlie Sheen’s infamous departure from the show – is “a great guy,” Cryer says.

“I like him,” he says. “He’s younger, taller – it’s a totally different thing.”

As for Sheen’s departure, Cryer says, “I get it, I get it. … But I’ve made my peace with it.”

Sheen, meanwhile, has made his peace as well.

He appeared on the Emmy telecast to present the award in “his old category,” lead actor in a comedy series.

Before awarding The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons, he addressed his former castmates, saying, “From the bottom of my heart I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season.”

“We spent eight wonderful years together,” he continued, “and I know you will continue to make great television.”

Later, Kutcher had a minute to add his two cents: “I am not Charlie Sheen,” he joked while presenting best writing in a drama alongside Cryer. “And Jon, I want to tell you something. I do not think you are a troll.”
