Honey Boo Boo Drops Her First Music Video 'Movin Up'

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been canceled for nearly a year, but former TLC reality star Alana Thompson has already found a new focus for her energies having recently launched her music career with the debut of her new rap video.

The 10-year-old dropped her first single Movin’ Up on Monday with a music video featuring viral video artist Adam Barta, who also helped to write the song.

The dance video starring the former pageant queen also features cameo appearances from Honey Boo Boo’s mother June ‘Mama June’ Shannon, her father Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson and her 15-year-old sister Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon.

In the clip, Honey Boo Boo can be seen rapping while she and her entourage danced and encourage others to help turn the ‘Honey Boo Boo Bop’ into the latest dance craze.

GR Media, the same company that created music videos for Teen Mom star Mackenzie Mckee and ‘Tan Mom’ Patricia Krencil, released the video on its YouTube channel on Monday.

Meanwhile, LA on the Track, who also worked with Mackenzie, produced Honey Boo Boo’s music video for her new song, which recounts the family’s rise and fall from fame.

‘I’m the princess of this castle / Mama June queen of the house / Went from something to nothing / I holler and scream and shout,’ Honey Boo Boo raps in the song.

Although not everyone is a fan. ‘I’m at 1:18 and I swear to god I’ve been listening to this for 20 years. This feels like such a long song,’ someone else wrote.

Honey Boo Boo originally rose to fame on the TLC reality series Toddlers & Tiaras before she scored her own show about her life in McIntyre, Georgia.

‘We appreciate our true fans that have been there through the up and downs and have forgave for mistakes as NO ONE is perfect this is page is to keep y’all updated on life moving past here comes honey boo boo and going into our new chapter in our lives,[sic]’ Mama June wrote on Honey Boo Boo’s Facebook page in February, as she announced that the family was working on some exciting new projects.
