Justin Timberlake’s Surprise Free Show in N.Y.C. Draws Stars

It was the hot ticket in New York City on Wednesday night. But you didn’t even need a ticket.

Justin Timberlake put on a free, impromptu concert at the Southern Hospitality barbecue joint in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, after Tweeting an invitation earlier in the day. 
The bar and restaurant was filled to capacity by 9 p.m. for the 11 p.m. show, and fans packed the streets outside. New York’s finest were on hand to monitor the crowd.

Timberlake, 30, took the stage with the rock/hip-hop band FreeSol to perform a few new songs, including a rap ballad called “Don’t Give It Away.” He also treated fans to a soulful a capella performance of “What Goes Around … Comes Around” and finished with another new song, whose chorus was “Your body’s like a fast car/I’ve got the keys.”

The guests included some famous fans, including Kim Kardashian, her sister Kourtney andhusband Kris Humphries, and Timberlake’s“beautiful” In Timecostar Amanda Seyfried.

Sad you missed the show? You’re in luck – if you can get to New York’s Irving Plaza on time. The singer will take the stage for another free concert with FreeSol, whose album is out on JT’s Tennman Records label, on Thursday,he Tweeted more than a week ago.

Following Wednesday’s 45-minute performance, Timberlake reminded fans about the pre-planned show, asking, “Are y’all coming?”
