It seems Lindsay Lohan is taking extra precautions to ensure she lands that Liz Taylor role, by putting herself on house arrest in the wake of a recent incident involving an alleged hit and run at a club earlier last week.
Lohan wants to avoid any possible trouble she might get herself into. This is the smartest thing she has probably done, to be honest. The actress can’t seem to get out of the limelight when it comes to drama and traffic violations.
Ever since Lindsay was accused of hitting a club manager with her car -which is a violation of her probation- the starlet has decided to stay home unless it is absolutely necessary, for her own good. While she denied she hit the owner of the Hookah Lounge, she isn’t taking any chances.
Lohan also denied she made contact with the manager, saying,
“Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I’ve been at community service. Last night I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn’t even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi.”
Police will not be coming after Lohan until the manager comes forward and presses charges. Lohan’s representative defended Lindsay, saying,
“At no point was there ever any indication that her car hit anyone or anything. We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the next few days.”
