Mirjana Puhar, America's Next Top Model contestant, Found Deceased In Triple Homicide

Mirjana Puhar, who finished in eighth place on Season 21 of “America’s Next Top Model” in 2014, was reportedly found dead in Charlotte, N.C., Tuesday (Feb. 24), the victim of a triple homicide.

A source confirms to  TMZ that Puhar was one of three victims found inside her boyfriend’s house. The bodies were discovered when a friend of the couple was called about gunshots heard in the vicinity and came to the home to investigate. Police confirm to WBTV Charlotte that the victims are two men and one woman but have not officially released the names yet.

Police in the nearby suburb of Matthews tell WBTV that they were contacted by the Charlotte police department about a possible connection to a shooting Sunday (Feb. 22) in Matthews that left one man dead and another seriously injured.

Lt. Alex Watson tells WSOC-TV Charlotte that the police believe the killer targeted at least some of the victims. “I can tell you this is not a random act of violence,” says Watson.

“America’s Next Top Model” producers Ken Mok and Tyra Banks tell Zap2it in a statement, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news about Mirjana Puhar. She was a vivacious and promising young woman. Our hearts and prayers go out to her loved ones.”

Puhar, 19, was originally from Serbia.
