Oft-embattled actor Shia LaBeouf has once again run afoul of the law, this time in Austin, Texas. LaBeouf was arrested by Austin police on Friday night for public intoxication. The arrest came on the first night of the second weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and according to TMZ witness reports, it came after LaBeouf and a friend were denied access to a bar.

The arrest occurred at 7:33 P.M. local time, and though the Austin P.D. has released no further details (“due to pending adjudication”), the TMZ report has an intoxicated LaBeouf running down 6th Street and jaywalking in front of police. According to the site, after allegedly being denied entry into a bar, “Shia began swearing up a storm and tried forcing himself into the bar but was blocked.”
This is by no means the first time LaBeouf has gotten in trouble for acting up in public. In June of 2014, there was an incident at a performance of Cabaret on Broadway where a drunk LaBeouf was removed from the theater for disorderly conduct. He was ordered to go to substance-abuse treatment, and as part of his plea deal, LaBeouf’s case would be dismissed and sealed if he’d displayed good behavior for six months. That was back in March, which means Friday night’s incident was just clear of his six-month window.
