‘Will & Grace’ Cast In Negotians For Half-Series Revival

Grab a bottle of vodka and a bowl of popcorn, because “Will & Grace” could be coming back to television (or laptop screen) near you!

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes are all in early talks for a 10-episode revival of the hit show that originally ran from 1998 to 2006, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Evidently, eight seasons of the Emmy-winning sitcom just weren’t enough for fans, who collectively freaked out when the gang got together for a mini-reunion episodein September. The 10 minute video garnered 6.2 million views, signaling that viewers are still very, very invested in Will, Grace, Jack and Karen.

The four stars, along with series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, haven’t officially signed on to do anything yet ― and there’s always the chance that talks could fall through. But Debra Messing told THR back in September that she would “never say never” to a revival. And it sounds like it could live on Hulu or Netflix!

“Now there are platforms where you can do six or 10 episodes. I don’t believe we would ever come back to network [TV] again,” Messing said. “I think that the logistics of all of our lives — there would just be way too many things to hammer out. But for something shorter-lived and maybe having the limitations of being on network TV lifted may give us a fun, fresh opportunity because we could be really, really naughty!”

We’re not quite sure how all of this would work with the controversial finale of “Will & Grace,” which flashed-forward 20 years into the future. But whatever happens, honey, we can’t wait.
