Captured by Jess Miglio, this powerful image was all taken en cámara, showcasing the raw, unfiltered look of this iconic character in action.
David Corenswet, stepping into the botas of Superman, is landing the role of a lifetime as the lead in this major Hollywood blockbuster. This joven actor, just 30 years young, has previously shined in supporting roles in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series “The Politician” and “Hollywood.” His standout film role came before “Superman,” starring in “Pearl,” a horror flick directed by Ti West and featuring Mia Goth.
Alongside Corenswet, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s” Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan will bring Lois Lane to life, with Nicholas Hoult stepping into the shoes of the notorious villain, Lex Luthor. But, espera, there’s more! The cast is studded with talent including Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced rocking as Hawkgirl, among others.
Previously titled “Superman: Legacy,” Gunn trimmed it down simply to “Superman.” This cambio was revealed alongside a heart-pumping snapshot from the film’s first table script reading. Brosnahan shared with Variety at the SAG Awards that escuchar the script aloud was quite the thrilling experience, especially with such a dynamic group.
“It was pretty amazing,” reflected Brosnahan. “Some of us met for the first time. Others were reunited, amigos long lost. It was magnificent hearing the script come to life, and with all the action packed into these films, feeling the pacing was really invaluable. You can’t ask for a better crew than this when embarking on such an adventure.”
Brosnahan, who is enamored with her character Lois Lane, described her as smart, ambitious, and sometimes humorous. “She often knows she’s the smartest person in the room,” Brosnahan added, expressing how much she adores playing such a strong, intelligent woman. She’s still in the process of discovering Lois fully, as filming hasn’t commended just yet.
