World Wrestling Mega Star STING To Retire After 31 Years In The Ring Following Hall Of Fame Induction

TMZ Sports is reporting that WWE wrestler and 2016 Hall of Fame inductee Sting will be retiring from active competition following complications during his recovery from his recent neck surgery.

Sting was injured during his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions in September 2015.

TMZ is also reporting that Sting has been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis — the same injury that forced fellow WWE Hall of Famer Edge to retire the night after WrestleMania 27 — and that an official announcement could be coming at the Hall of Fame ceremony in Dallas.

Sting is one of the biggest stars in the history of the pro wrestling. He’s a multi-time world champion who made his long-awaited debut in WWE at last year’s WrestleMania in a match against Triple H.
