Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot as the eponymous Amazon warrior, is now the highest-grossing live-action film directed by a woman in the world, ever. As of this weekend, the film has earned $635 million worldwide, beating out the $609.8 million of 2008’s Meryl Streep-starring Mamma Mia!, directed by Phyllida Lloyd. It has yet to surpass Disney’s animated film Frozen, which was co-directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and earned more than one billion dollarsworldwide, but Wonder Woman shows no signs of slowing down.

She’s even whooshing past a number of her fellow superheroes, already having made almost double Iron Man’s domestic earnings ($318 million), and surpassing the other DC Extended Universe films, Man of SteelBatman v. Superman, and Suicide Squad($291 million, $330 million, and $325 million).

When the news broke, many were quick to congratulate Jenkins and her crew on social media. Connie Nielsen, who plays Diana Prince’s mother Queen Hippolyta in the movie, tweeted, “@PattyJenks Am so unbelievably proud of you,” with a link to the article. Jenkins quote-retweeted Nielsen, saying, “Thank you my dear friend and incredible queen. Couldn’t have done it without you. Honored to be a part of it. xo”
