Natalia Oreiro Takes the Lead in EO Media and El Camino’s Latest Murder Mystery, ‘Punta Blanca’

The dream team behind this proyecto includes Argentina’s EO Media, led by the visionary CEO Ezequiel Olzanski, and Uruguay’s El Camino Films, commanded by the talented Nicolas Aznarez (“Blindness”).

Uruguay has emerged as a crucial support for Argentine producers, especially with the recent cuts in arts funding under the administration of President Javier Milei.
For many in the film industry, Uruguay is becoming an even more attractive base. In fact, it’s being proposed as the new venue for the all-important Ventana Sur market, traditionally held in Buenos Aires. The series will shoot in some of the iconic locations that were also used by the recent Premio Platino winner for Best Series, “Barrabravas,” and “Iosi, The Regretful Spy.”
EO Media isn’t new to the scene, amigos. Their credits include big names like Disney’s “Ringo,” Amazon Original “El Presidente,” and the upcoming bio series “Cris Miró,” focusing on the late Argentine trans artist who became a celebrated vedette in Buenos Aires' revue theatre scene. Furthermore, El Camino isn’t just about “Punta Blanca”; they’ve recently provided local production services for Netflix’s ambitious series about Brazilian Formula 1 race car driver Ayrton Senna, which filmed across Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina, among other places.
