The nominees for the third annual edition of the HEAT Latin Music Awards have been announced by its producer, the popular Latin-music video channel HTV. This awards ceremony will be simulcast live on June 8 from Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, by HTV and TBS Latin America. Once again, the creative talent of SESAC Latina, the only performance multi-rights organization in the United States, is well represented at this glamourous event.
SESAC Latina nominees include the urban-music pioneer Nicky Jam; the critically acclaimed Cuban tropical-fusion duo Gente de Zona; the multi-faceted singer, songwriter, producer and actor Jencarlos Canela; the Panamanian singer and songwriter Joey Montana; and the Mexican pop-rock trio Reik.
In announcing the nominees for the 2017 HEAT Latin Music Awards, HTV noted that this ceremony “recognizes the consistency, dedication and talent of the artists who have been an important part of HTV’s programming throughout the year.”
