LOS ANGELES, April 6, 2017– Sony Latin/Latium recording artists and DJs, Play-N-Skillz have become an unstoppable force within the music industry, breaking down barriers and crossing over genres with their infectious beats and versatile collaborations. It’s no surprise the brothers have now found themselves at the top of the Latin music charts with their hit single, “Si Una Vez (If I Once)”, a unique urban remake of the Selena classic. In an effort to bridge the multicultural music scene, the Grammy-winning producers have released both English and Spanish versions of the song featuring some of the biggest names in music including Leslie Grace, Frankie J, and Wisin on the Spanish version, and Kap G, Frankie J, and Becky G on the English version. This week, the English version hit radio across the US. Simultaneous with the release of the song, Play-N-Skillz premiered the official lyric video for the English version on their YouTube channel, highlighting fans from around the world singing along to the song.

Since its release in December of 2016, the “Si Una Vez (If I Once)” has been steadily climbing the charts and has felt the support from media and fans alike. The video went viral in early 2017 when digital media outlets from around the world raved about the infectious rendition of one of Selena’s most beloved songs. As we near the anniversary of the iconic Tejano singer’s tragic death, as well as her birthday, fans from around the world are celebrating her legacy and have embraced Play-N-Skillz’s beautiful homage to the late singer. The song topped the Shazam Latin Songs chart at #1 last week and broke into the top 5 on the US iTunes Latin chart.

“Si Una Vez” follows in the footsteps of Play-N-Skillz’s previous single, “Not a Crime (No Es Ilegal)” feat. Daddy Yankee. It was the duo’s debut with Latium Records/Sony Music Latin, and made the Top 10 on the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart earning them a Latin Billboard Award nomination for Best Duo or Group. The chart-topping brothers have been hard at work on their highly anticipated star-studded Latin debut album slated for release in late 2017.
