Adele’s U.S. Concert Tickets Sale Website Crashes After Tickets Sell Out In Minutes

Tickets for Adele’s North American tour went on sale on Thursday morning, but within minutes, passes were sold out and Ticketmaster and StubHub had incredibly long wait times.

Since the tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. CST, fans hoping to score tickets to one of Adele’s shows have been angry, sad and upset that they either can’t get tickets at all, or have been in line for 45 minutes. Because of that, third party ticket sellers are retailing passes for absurd amounts.

“I’ve been in this queue for 34 MINUTES I mean will I die here?! Someone come collect my wizened, dusty corpse from this desk #adeletickets,” one user tweeted.

Another user just completely gave up: “22 min in the queue for Adele tickets…yeah might have to get the dvd. #adeletickets.”

Her first tour in five years, Adele will begin on July 5 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She will play six nights in Los Angeles and New York before wrapping up in Mexico City on Nov. 15.

The announcement for her tour came just weeks after she released her new album, “25,” which has sold over 5 million copies so far.
