After taking a short break from the music world and leaving his fans with el corazón partido, Alejandro Sanz is finally back!
The Spanish crooner has just announced through his Twitter account that he will begin working on a new album. This will mark the first time the singer records one with the Universal Music label as well as with Grammy-winning producer Julio Reyes. Reyes has previously worked with superstars Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado and Thalía just to name a few.
“I love how Julio Reyes arranges music… We make a good team… It was the right choice to work with him for the new album.”
This new album comes at a busy time for the artist who has recently been judging on the Mexican version of The Voice alongside Lucero, Aleks Syntek and Espinoza Paz. No word yet on whether his return to the stage will affect his judging stint on La Voz de Mexico. Sanz has been updating his fans throughout the process,
“We keep advancing everyday. We keep recording the guitars. The song that I thought was being cut has been saved.”
There is no official release date for the album but with an artist of Sanz’s caliber we can be sure to expect great things.
