She terrified you with her cameo in “The Conjuring,” but now the story of Annabelle begins. And it’s apparently a story the world has been craving.
New Line Cinema’s “Annabelle” has just been announced to have reached over $250 million in box offices worldwide! This revelation is broken down as follow. The film grossed $83.8 million domestically and $166.4 million internationally, making it the highest grossing horror film of 2014 in both arenas, as well as worldwide.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with the film, here is the synopsis of the film:
John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia—a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia’s delight with Annabelle doesn’t last long. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now…Annabelle.
The movie brings back the minds behind her movie debut in 2013’s “The Conjuring,” James Wan who directed the film and co-produced it’s successor, and Peter Safran, who produced both films.
See it in theaters before it’s taken down, and join the worldwide scare-ority!!
