With one little 20-second rant about how pop star Ariana Grande will “forever look 12,” talk show host Wendy Williams set the Grande fandom on fire and launched a heated campaign demanding the cancellation of her show.

“She’s 21 she’ll forever look 12 which,” Williams says of Grande in the clip, pausing mid-sentence while her audiences laughs. “I don’t mean that in a good way, I mean it in a … it’s nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and you’re short, she’s only like 4′ 11,” I don’t look at her as a woman”
The hashtag “#CancelWendyWilliamsShow” quickly jumped to the top of Twitter’s U.S. trending topics and spawned countless angry reactions from fans, also known as “Arianators.”

And while the issue of body-shaming is a sensitive one that should not be overlooked, judging from Williams’ tone in the clip she meant her comments in a joking manner.
No matter what happens with the anti-Williams campaign, Grande herself was recently named the No. 2 most-disliked celebrity according to data collected and analyzed by The Hollywood Reporter, her decrease in popularity linked to her donut-licking incident.
