Bobby Brown is blasting the release of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy report. See statements below.
Since September 2015, when judge ordered Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy findings to be sealed due to the ongoing investigation into her death. This week, however, a Georgia news station’s request for it to be unsealed was granted. The report, released on Friday, revealed she died from pneumonia brought on by water immersion and drug toxicity. She had been found face-down in the bath, and Brown’s conservator has accused boyfriend Nick Gordon of injecting her with a “toxic substance” before dragging her to the tub and leaving her to drown.
While Bobby has publicly blamed Gordon for his daughter’s death, too, he is not happy about the autopsy’s release. He says in a statement through his attorney, “For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter’s autopsy report, before anyone has been brought to justice for her death, is mind blowing to me. Please pray for my family.”
His statement also notes, “23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl.” Brown’s lawyer Christopher Brown (no relation) further says, “Yesterday we were informed that two news affiliates were granted access to the autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown. While this action is unsettling, we will continue in our efforts in the civil lawsuit and the criminal investigation.”
“Bobby Brown has had to be strong and mourn his loved ones in a fashion that is foreign to most people. So public, so raw, with apparently no end in sight,” says the attorney. “Hopefully public indictments and prosecution will lead to private healing and closure for Bobby Brown and his family.”
It was just announced last week that Brown is expecting another child, his third with wife Alicia Etheredge.
