Los Angeles (California (June 17, 2016) – Borchardt, one of pop bands most interesting of the Mexican scene these days, presented Friday their first studio album “Dulcces de Menta“, a collection of five songs it will be available starting today worldwide through digital platforms.
After more than an intense working year, the group from Hermosillo (Sonora) presents this album that captures the spirit, sound and style of this band that was formed in 2010 with the talents of Daniel Borchardt and Daniel Galindo.
Since late 2015, Borchardt is in the studio and today the album sees the light after being recorded this EP at the legendary studios Sound Factory in Hollywood, California (Ringo Starr, The Jackson 5, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Toto, Cher Neil Diamond), produced and arranged by Ettore Grenci (Reik, Kalimba, Alejandra Guzman, Natalia Lafourcade, OV7).
In addition, an excellent group of guest musicians like drummer Aaron Sterling (Taylor Swift, Fiona Apple, Alejandro Sanz, Pablo Alboran), bassist Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Trevor Hall, Selena Gomez, Josh Groban), guitarist joined Jim McGorman (Weezer, Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Poison, the Corrs) and Ettore Grenci on piano.
The recording engineer was Adrian Trujillo (Gloria Trevi, Alejandra Guzman, Camila, Marc Anthony), was mixed by Daniel Galindo (drummer Borchardt) and mastered by Jett Galindo (Nile Rodgers, Jota Quest, Tame Impala, Band of Horses, Gustavo Santaolalla) in the renowned mastering studios the Bakery.
The group’s first single is the ballad of love and heartbreak “Nada de Nada” which is now available on YouTube.
Borchardt begins his first promotional tour in the United States next week in the city of Los Angeles, California from 22 to 23 June.
