Bryan Cranston Explodes Speculation And Expectations After "Breaking Bad Question" 1

No. Way.

Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston just teased the resurrection of his mega-popular Walter White character in the much anticipated spinoff series “Better Call Saul”. Bryan dropped the bombshell in an interview with CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield on Thursday, according to their website on May 30. When asked by Banfield if his Walter White character died or not, Cranston replied, “Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything.”

Ever since news of the alleged prequel spinoff based on the shady lawyer Saul Goodman character was announced, fans have been salivating over the possibility of bringing back “Breaking Bad” characters to the small screen. Pushed further about whether his character could show up in a movie or anywhere else ever again, Cranston added “Never say never.”

As the Emmy-winning actor hinted that his meth-cooking alter ego could be somehow returning, it send shock waves through the show’s devoted fan base. And a source for reports that Bryan Cranston’s infamous Walter White character will definitely be returning to television.

This all leaves former addicts of the show wondering just how these reincarnations might take place. Does it mean Walter White is alive? Will he show up in flashbacks or flash-forwards?

The HL source added that White’s return is promised not to be gimmicky. The showrunners will handle it in an awesome and epic way, surely not to disappoint viewers.

When the series ended, purportedly depicting the demise of Walter White, Cranston and others associated with the show poo-pooed ideas of ever doing a movie or continuing the show in any way. What a difference time makes.

While chatting with Ashleigh Banfield Thursday, she directly asked Bryan if he thought his character died at the end of the series. Cranston, 58, replied that he did not know.

The spinoff “Better Call Saul” will feature Bob Odenkirk reprising his sleazy lawyer role from “Breaking Bad”. It’s been reported though that this series will be much lighter than the often dark world of meth kingpin Walter White.

The show is slated to premiere this November. While other BB characters have already indicated that they plan to appear in the spinoff, it wasn’t until now that knew whether Cranston planned, or could, show up.

When the show signed off last September, avid fans of the acclaimed series took things to a whole new level. They went so far as to hold a mock funeral for Walter White in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the show was set and filmed.

Now it looks like that memorial service may just have been premature.
