Outside of the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner has always been able to boast her own success as (obviously) an Olympian and public speaker, but could her success be waning?
At first glance, that seemed to be the case when Caitlyn announced this week she’s canceling her five-city speaking tour, set to kick off in Toronto on February 22.
“Unfortunately those dates conflicted with another work commitment,” her rep tells People.
Though scheduling issues do seem to be the cause of the cancellation, the Toronto venue where the I Am Cait star was set to speak, tells TMZ there were still “a lot” of tickets left for the engagements.
This is not a positive sign for Caitlyn, who is used to selling out houses on the regular. That being said, she doesn’t seem to be too concerned over the minor setback, and remains focused on promoting transgender awareness.
The 66-year-old delivered an emotional speech at a screening of the film Tangerine this Monday.
“We have a lot of momentum in the trans community, but we have to keep that momentum going,” she emphasized. “We have to bring this in front of the public.”
