Cameron Diaz’s next huge role may just be, “mom.” The knockout 42-year-old is reportedly ready to work on having a baby with her new husband, rock star Benji Madden.
A source has told Us Weekly that the always-busy actress (and author) will be taking off a full year from making movie magic to “be a wife and try to have a baby.” It’s only taken the former Charlie’s Angels star five months of wedded bliss to decide she wants to try it out full-time.
The same unnamed insider told the magazine, “All she wants is to stay home and enjoy this special time in her life.” And don’t even try to call Cameron— she won’t pick up. According to the anonymous source, “She has told her team she won’t answer the phone for any amount of money — even though she has received offers for various things. She is adamant that she is not available for anything.” That is some serious dedication (although, Cam doesn’t really need the dough, she reportedly brought in $18 million during 2014 alone).
We hope Cameron all the luck in the world in getting pregnant! Sydney may be a good place to start with possible baby names since Benji will be hosting The Voice Australia with his brother Joel Madden for the next few months.
