Carly Rae Jepsen Recruits Tom Hanks And J. Biebs For Musical Video "I Really Like You"

We really really, really, really, really, really, like this!

Carly Rae Jepsen, the 29-year-old singer of the catchy 2011 pop tune “Call Me Maybe,” this week released a new single, “I Really Like You” and its music video dropped on Friday. The best part? Tom Hanks is in it!

In fact, the 58-year-old Oscar winner is the star of the video, and this marks one of his most hilarious roles ever!

While lip-syncing most of the song, he is shown getting up at 5:00 a.m., getting ready and heading out to the streets of New York City, where he takes a selfie with fans and texts (with emojis!) from inside a taxi cab. Passersby are also shown looking at his Tinder profile…and swiping right, of course.

Hanks later meets up with Jepsen in a dressing room and the two dance with several backup dancers in the street.

Fellow pop star Justin Bieber, 21, who is managed by Jepsen’s manager, Scooter Braun, also makes an appearance.

Jepsen last released new music in 2013 but it was not as successful as “Call Me Maybe,” her breakout hit. Last year, she made her Broadway debut in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, playing main character Ella for four months.

She teased her new single last month, after filming its video in the city.

“We loved the idea of Tom Hanks taking over for our video. Justin was in town and was like, ‘I was going to come down.’ I was like, ‘All right! The more the merrier!'” Jepsen recently said on Good Morning America.

Hanks told E! News that he agreed to be in the music video before he even knew who was the singer.

“She’s a nice girl,” he said about Jepsen. “We had a good time.”
