It’s official: 17-year-old Chicago rapper Chief Keef is heading to jail over violating the terms of his parole.

According to DNAinfo Chicago, Keef — whose real name is Keith Cozart — was sentenced to 60 days of juvenile detention for his probation violation in St. Charles, Ill., on Wednesday.

Idris “Peeda Pan” Abdul Wahid, part of Cozart’s management team, told Complex that, “overall, I think it’s the best decision to satisfy everybody.”

“The City of Chicago got what they want… We done been to hell and back already, so shit ain’t nothing,” Wahid told the music website.

On Tuesday, a Chicago Juvenile Court judge ruled that Cozart violated the terms of his parole when he participated in a video interview with music website Pitchfork Media in which he held a rifle at a New York gun range. Cozart had been serving 18 months of probation after he pointed a gun at Chicago police officer in 2011.

The bad news kept coming for Keef on Thursday: he also has been sued over allegedly being a no-show at a London concert last month. The Washington, D.C.-based promoters of the show are seeking at least $75,000 in damages in the suit.

Police are also currently investigating whether Cozart was involved in the shooting death of rival Chicago rapper Lil JoJo.

50 Cent, Keef’s own Interscope labelmate, on Wednesday weighed in on Keef’s array of legal problemsand told MTV he “knew that was gonna happen. I knew what continues to happen afterwards if you let it spiral out of control.” Still, he admitted he is rooting Keef on because he “still just this raw music, raw talent.”
