Chris Brown is still a kid at heart. The Grammy-award winning R&B singer teamed up with contemporary pop artist Ron English to launch Dum English, a line of “collectible toys and one-of-a kind art sculptures”. The collection was debuted at the Toy Art Gallery in Los Angeles.
Dum English is a vinyl reincarnation of Chris Brown’s Mechanical Dummy brand fused with the details of Ron English’s art and designed in collaboration with Chris Kong’s Made by Monsters label.
“Hands down right now my guy is Ron English,” said Brown, whose new album Fortune is scheduled to be released on July 3rd.
Brown also added,
“Ron has to be the more creative, ‘out there’ artist I see. His work is so precise but at the same time so unorthodox. I think it’s incredible to be able to see him do what he does and be a fan.”
Proceeds from the line will go towards Brown’s Symphonic Love youth foundation.
