L.A. restaurant Mexicali has quite a lot of ‘splaining to do. The Mexican eatery has gotten in trouble with So Cal’s Department of Health after Christina Miliandiscovered a piece of used chewing gum in her Kobe beef salad!
The Cuban-American pop star was quite livid when speaking to TMZ about the incident. Apparently she was biting into a leafy vegetable mix when she got a gross spearmint-flavored surprise.
Milian told the site that she quickly ran to the restaurant’s bathroom and threw up after the incident. For the record, Mexicali did apologize and comp her meal, but it was too little too late.
Christina has already filed an official complaint and has sworn off dining out for a very long time.
“The most important thing to me is to make sure my health is okay,”Milian said. “Ever since the incident I have not eaten out!”
