SESAC’s Luciano Luna celebrates his third straight week at #1 on the Billboard Regional Mexican Songs chart for the Oct. 29 – Nov. 4, 2016 issue, with his composition “Yo Sí Me Enamoré” (I Did Fall in Love). This rollicking ballad is expertly performed by the rising young group La Séptima Banda.

Luciano Luna is deeply involved in this song, not just as composer but also as producer. He recorded La Séptima Banda’s latest album at his own studio, playing a major role in the group’s swift rise to the top of the Regional Mexican scene.

The chart dominance of SESAC Latina, the most progressive performing-rights organization in the industry, continues with its presence at #2 and #3 on the same ranking.

The runner-up position goes to “Tengo Que Colgar” (I Have to Hang Up), written by Edén Muñoz and performed by Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, while this week’s bronze goes to “Amor Del Bueno” (Good Love), written by Armando Ramos,  performed by Calibre 50.

Meanwhile, the SESAC Latina-affiliated artist Nicky Jam is #1 on four Billboard charts with a pair of rhythmic tracks.  On three of the rankings, his unstoppable single “Hasta El Amanecer” (Until Dawn) leads the way. Its run is up to 18 non-consecutive weeks on Hot Latin Songs, 24 weeks on Latin Rhythm Digital Song Sales, and 26 weeks on Latin Streaming Songs.

Nicky Jam is also enjoying his fifth straight week at #1 on Latin Pop Airplay with “De Pies A Cabeza” (From Head to Toe). He serves as co-writer of the new version of this song and joins its original artist, Mexican rock group Maná, as a performer.
