Just weeks after hearing about Eva Longoria’s new Desperate Housewives deal, it looks like another popular Latina is cashing in on primetime success. NCIS star Cote de Pablo reportedly just signed a very lucrative deal with CBS, which will lock her into the crime drama for another two seasons.
Cote is now set to make $120,000 per episode, putting her total salary at about $3 million per year. Any NCIS fan knows that de Pablo’s Ziva David character is an essential ingredient to the show’s success. Since she joined the cast in 2006, the ratings have seen a drastic spike. Coincidence? We think not.
Interestingly, Chilean-born de Pablo actually plays an Israeli character on the series and has done so very convincingly. Within the past five years, Cote has been nominated for two ALMAs and won an Imagen Award for her portrayal of Ziva.
Of course, what we’re most interested in is seeing where Cote goes from here. Since making her mark on Hollywood, de Pablo has demonstrated some amazing singing talents (which were featured on NCIS) and dabbled a bit with indie films. Keeping all that in mind, it’s clear this Latina has a very bright future ahead!
