Demi Lovato is already leaving the Confident era behind and hopping right into her sixth album, and last night she gave fans a taste of what’s to come. The artist performed her new single, “Body Say,” live during the Atlanta tour stop of the joint Future Now Tour with Nick Jonas.
It’s a bit difficult to make out the true sound based on the fan footage above, but sounds like a smooth mid-tempo ballad with sensual lyrics like “You can touch me with slow hands” and “Take me there because I want your sex.”

In an interview with USA Today, Demi shared what fans can expect from the next record:
“This new sound is definitely sexier. It’s more adult and there’s also some songs on my album that have more of a country influence. We’ll see where it goes—you never really know until it’s finished.”
Demi already dabbled in a bit of country with her “Without a Fight” duet with Brad Paisley, and “Body Say” seems to remain in a pop lane. The single is rumored to be released on July 1, but while we wait click here for all the times the pop star proved to be a rocking role model.
