Ever wondered where does Demi Lovato‘s friendship with Miley Cyrus stand?
Turns out, the two former besties aren’t even remotely as close as they used to be.
In an interview with Boston radio station 103.3 AMP, Lovato addressed the fellow former Disney starlet—and while she didn’t have anything negative to say, she didn’t exactly have that much positive either.
“Um…yeah… that, um… we’re, we’re like, we’re acquaintances,” Lovato told AMP. “It’s life, and people change, and, you know, I don’t have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best.”
The pop singers were formerly close friends, rising up together through the ranks after getting their starts with Disney, Cyrus on the show Hannah Montana as its lead star and Lovato on Sonny with a Chance and on the TV film series Camp Rock.
But, while Cyrus has been more known for her partying in recent years in addition to her music, Lovato has been vocally sober after having problems with drugs earlier in her career, eventually heading to rehab.
