It’s hard to believe that in a few short months we’ll be saying goodbye to Desperate Housewives forever. And at a recent ABC press event, it was clear that Eva Longoria and company were sad to see the show go. But before the final curtain call, series creator Marc Cherry promised some fun surprises.
Cherry confirmed that “old familiar characters” will be reappearing on Wisteria Lane. He also said that he will make his own onscreen appearance, but you’ll have to look hard to find him.
“I’m gonna do a Hitchcock,” he said, referring to director Alfred Hitchcock’s famous movie cameos. “The hair and makeup people will go through more hell that day than they ever have.”
Marc also ruled out any speculations about a Desperate Housewives movie, even taking a jab at the critically panned Sex and the City sequel. But all of us Eva fans won’t have to wait too long to see her on the big screen. She’ll be popping up in The Truth due out later this year.
