Caguas, Puerto Rico (Tuesday, October 14, 2014) – The King of Latin music, DON OMAR returns to the spotlight with the release of a new single titled “SOLEDAD” (SOLITUDE). The record poses as yet another stunning advance of what is to come in the highly anticipated new album “THE LAST DON 2.” The song caused an immediate uproar when the artist shared a sneak peek with his millions of followers via his social media platforms.
“Soledad” (Solitude) brings forth the essence of the new album by the multi-award winning Puerto Rican artist, who took to social media (Facebook, Twitter) to self proclaim the record a “masterpiece.” The song boasts an undeniably unique rhythm that will make listeners relive the glory years of his chart topping album “The Last Don” in 2003.
In “Soledad” (Solitude), Don Omar successfully entices the mind of the listener in the story of a young woman who sentences herself loneliness. The song was produced by renowed producers “Mambo Kingz”, Bryan “La Mente del Equipo” and Raphy Pina, executive producer and president of leading independent Urban music record label, Pina Records.
“I have undertaken several meetings with our colleague and professional visual artist Carlos Perez of Elastic People. Together, we are molding our ideas into what will be a music video that will mark a turning point in this new stage of my career,” expressed Don Omar in a statement via his representative Raphy Pina.
“The Last Don 2” will contain collaborations with high-ranked talent such as Daddy Yankee, Wisin, Yandel, Tego Calderon, Plan B and Natti Natasha.
