Draco Rosa fans got a very good piece of news this week. It seems the former Menudo star has overcome his deadly cancer diagnosis…at least for the time being.
“The cancer is gone. Draco overcame another battle,” Draco’s manager, Angelo Medina, said. “Draco has been very brave in this process. Personally, I’m really excited and proud to see the bravery and courage with which he has faced this disease.”
According to Medina, Rosa recently underwent a bone marrow transplant at L.A.’s City of Hope hospital. Though the process was undoubtedly grueling, his is reportedly resting comfortable and on the mend. Draco was first diagnosed with non-Hodkins lymphoma back in April 2011. And through it all, he has definitely put on a brave face. Rosa even recorded an album during the ordeal, which should be out in stores by next month.
