EAST COAST STORMS PROMPT RESCHEDULING OF JUAN GABRIEL SHOWS IN D.C. AND CONNECTICUT THIS WEEKEND

D.C. SHOW MOVES TO MARCH 5, CT SHOW MOVES TO OCTOBER 31

“There have been few things in pop music over the last two decades as certain as the fun of a live performance by Mexican pop singer Juan Gabriel. Attending one of his concerts was an annual tradition for legions of fans, as regular as a Cinco de Mayo festival…. The delighted, near-capacity crowd sang along with almost every word, their eager, admiring faces often projected on two overhead video screen,” Los Angeles times

Los Angeles – February 13, 2015 – Severe  weather on the East coast is proving to be a logistical nightmare for superstar Juan Gabriel’s acclaimed VOLVER tour, prompting the postponement of two performances this weekend.   The snow and sleet and road conditions are preventing the safe arrival  of the 6 giant trucks and 60 show and production  personnel to venues in Washington DC and Uncasville, CT, necessitating the rescheduling of those shows to Thursday March 5 and Saturday October 31, respectively. See below for routing.

Juan Gabriel just kicked off the second US leg of his acclaimed Volver tour this month. During his spectacular performance this month at the U.S Airways Center, where he was joined by over 30 musicians, backup singers and dancers on stage, he performed a phenomenal show of more than two dozen songs that included favorites such as Siempre En Mi Mente, Yo No Naci Para Amar, Querida, Hasta Que Te Conoci, Asi Fue and closing with Por Que Me Haces Llorar. The more than 2 hour set featured Juanga in full form, singing and performing stronger than ever.

The legendary Juan Gabriel returns to concert stages in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic  for the second leg of his sold-out, critically acclaimed VOLVER tour which drew nearly 200,000 fans to the musical and emotional extravaganza by the music world’s beloved superstar.  VOLVER 2015, produced by concert promoter Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN) kicked off yesterday at the US Airways Center and makes its way to thirteen major markets including San Diego, Washington DC, Orlando, San Antonio and Dallas.  Additionally, for the first time in eight years, Juanga will play San Juan, Puerto Rico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
