Recurring Empire Role Will See Demi Moore Return To TV After 14 Years

Demi Moore is joining a long line of A-list Hollywood stars with an upcoming appearance on Empire.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress will make a big splash on Empire when she guest stars in the Fox musical drama’s upcoming third season finale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In what will be a recurring role carrying over to next season, Demi will be playing a no-nonsense nurse whose dark secret puts both her and the Lyon family in serious danger.

This will be Demi Moore’s first recurring role on a TV series since she got her start in the US soap General Hospital back in the early 1980s.

Since then, she’s become a Hollywood movie star and only made guest appearances on TV in huge shows like MoonlightingEllen and Tales from the Crypt.

Her last TV guest appearance was all the way back in 2003 when she sparred with Will & Grace on NBC.

Empire continues to attract huge names in its highly-rated third season, with Mariah Carey, Eva Longoria Taye Diggs, Xzibit, Phylicia Rashad and Vivica A. Fox all getting involved in the Lyon family power struggle this year.

Expect more in-fighting and backstabbing when Empire returns on Wednesday, March 22 at 9pm ET for its final run of episodes this season. In the UK, the series airs on E4.
