According to reports, Gisele Bundchen is retiring from the runway following fasion week in Sao Paulo in Apirl.
The 34-year-old supermodel will reportedly end her catwalk career on April 20th at the Colcci show, a Brazilian brand she’s starred in campaigns for and walked for many times, reports Brazilian newspaper Moda Estadao.
The Brazilian stunner who is mom to kids Benjamin and Vivian and stepmother to Jack with husband Tom Brady has been crowned the world’s highest paid model for the last eight years running. However she’s not giving up working in front of the camera entirely as she’s still under contract for Under Armour and Chanel.
Although Gisele has not yet commented on the reports about her alleged retirement, many industry insiders are already speculating that her decision to take a step back from the catwalk has been motivated by her desire to spend more time at home with her husband and children.
She was discovered at just 14-years-old, and by age 19, Vogue magazine credited her with the “return” of the sexy model. She was also a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2000-2007, and she’s even the model who first made the famous “horse-walk” a trend on the runway!
