Tuesday, Forbes has finally released its annual Electronic Cash Kings list.
Starting with the top of the list for the 5th consecutive time, (1) Calvin Harris earned an estimated $48.5 million, (2) Tiesto earned $39 million, and (3) The Chainsmokers earned $38 million. To close out the top 10 list we have (8) Marshmello who joins the list for the first time with $21 million earned, (9) Martin Garrix with about $19.5 million, and (10) Zedd with 19 million.
According to Forbes, they took into consideration the following, ““take into account earnings from June 2016 through June 2017. Fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not subtracted. We create our list with the help of data from Nielsen, Pollstar, Bandsintown, Songkick, as well as interviews with industry insiders and some of the DJs themselves.”
