Is it us, or does it seem like Freddie Prinze Jr. has been MIA for way too long? Back in the late 1990’s, the part-Puerto Rican star headlined a ton of rom coms then just seemed to disappear. Well now he may be on his way back, with a possible guest role on his wife Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new series Ringer.
Already receiving solid ratings on the CW network, Ringer follows the life of a socialite posing as her own twin. Tr3s fave Nestor Carbonell is also a regular on the series, which has quickly become famous for its plot twists and nighttime soap undertones.
Gellar seems thrilled with the show’s early success and the possibility of there being a part for Freddie.
“I’d love to get him to guest star on [Ringer] for an episode because it would be fun,” she recently said. “But we’ll see.”
Sarah actually serves as an executive producer on the show as well, so we’re hoping she can pull some strings to bring Prinze back to primetime!
