In October 2014, the entire series of Gilmore Girls came to Netflix streaming and reignited the love for Rory and Lorelai in the hearts of millions once again.
However, rumor has it that a revival is now afoot which will come to the streaming service.
There is no word on a title or a premiere date yet, but Netflix confirmed that stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, who portrayed Lorelai and Rory Gilmore respectively, will return. I mean, they better or else how can you even have a revival of this show? No one else could play them – let’s be real.
Additionally, Scott Patterson, who played diner owner Luke Danes, and Kelly Bishop, who portrayed Emily, will also be coming back.
Lauren Graham, who played Lorelei Gilmore, also shared on Twitter her own confirmation of the news:
I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work.@netflix #GilmoreGirls pic.twitter.com/tBb07J9oO1
