The National Hispanic Milk Mustache got milk? campaign and Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, are proud to announce the winners of “Saborea el Exito Con Leche,” the online contest where moms were asked to share stories and photographs with a caption describing how a balanced breakfast with milk sets their family up for a successful day. The winners were chosen from 16 cities across the U.S. and awarded a year’s supply of milk and featured in a national got milk? TV spot. Of the 18 winners, Guadalupe Salazar from Raleigh, NC, was the grand prize winner who won an all-expense paid trip to the Univision Studios in Miami for a meet-and-greet with the team from Hispanic America’s most popular morning show “Despierta America” (Wake-Up America) … just in time for breakfast.
The Hispanic got milk? campaign and Univision’s “Saborea el Exito Con Leche” contest received photos from moms across the nation with comments such as, “I give my three boys milk every day for breakfast, that’s how we start a successful day, full of vitamins” and “Milk is the No. 1 food on our table because it provides calcium, it’s never missing from our breakfast. It’s very important to avoid osteoporosis in women.” Winners were chosen from the following cities: Phoenix, El Mirage, Longmont, Chapel Hill, Cypress, Hollywood, Orlando, Roswell, Des Plaines, Raleigh, Bay Shore, Bronx, Pasadena, Houston, Salt Lake City and Passaic.
