Gwyneth Paltrow Says Bye Bye To ‘Glee’

Things may be very different when McKinley High classes resume in the fall. It seems the hit show Glee is going through quite a few changes in its off-season. For one thing, fan fave Chord Overstreet has been dropped from the cast. And now it is being reported that substitute teacher Gwyneth Paltrow will bid adieu to the series as well.

“No, I don’t think [I’ll be returning to Glee]. I don’t think I should,”Paltrow confessed to Glamour magazine. “Though it’s honestly been one of the best jobs I’ve ever had.”

Though she wasn’t a series regular, Gwyneth’s Holly Holliday character appeared in three very memorable episodes. Her singing on the show became so popular, she was reportedly offered a contract with Atlantic Records.

Could the fact that the album deal fell through have soured her on the Glee experience? That’s what many gossip bloggers are speculating. But Paltrow doesn’t seem to be worried one bit. In fact, she’s already moved on to a new passion: nude modeling for Vanity Fair!
