Health Issues Cause Justin Timberlake To Cancel NY Concert 2

Looks like Upstate New York will have to save their “Suit & Tie” until this summer.

Justin Timberlake has postponed his sold-out concert in Buffalo, N.Y. this Saturday, Feb. 22, after shuffling his New York City shows for “health reasons.”

The singer was scheduled to perform the first of two shows at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, but the unspecified illness prompted him to move it to Friday. Live Nation says the change caused him to delay this weekend’s show at First Niagara Center (formerly HSBC Arena) to Wednesday, July 9 at the same venue.

According to WVIB, all previously sold tickets for the Buffalo concert will be honored. Refunds are available at points of purchase.

Timberlake made no apologies for rescheduling the Western New York show, but said he was sorry on Wednesday for moving the first date in NYC.

“Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this… Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight’s show to Friday due to health reasons,” he wrote on Twitter. “I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this.”

Madison Square Garden’s website offered refunds to ticketholders who wanted to attend Wednesday but couldn’t go Friday.

The former ‘N Sync member resumed his “The 20/20 Experience World Tour” Thursday at MSG. Sara Bareilles attended the concert and posted a video of JT’s performance:

Timberlake, whose “The 20/20 Experience” album was 2013’s best-selling release, is still scheduled to appear on “The Tonight Show” Friday with Jimmy Fallon Friday. He’s also still expected to perform at the Times-Union Center in Albany on Wednesday, July 16.
