Hugh Jackman Gets 3rd Operation For His Skin Cancer

Hugh Jackman is hoping his third visit to the doctor for skin cancer treatment will be his last, after having yet another basal cell carcinoma removed, his rep confirms.

The Wolverine star, 46, had similar procedures done last November, and then again in May, posting Instagram photos of his bandaged nose each time.

This time, instead of a selfie, Jackman posted an image of the spoken-word song “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)” and captioned it simply: “SUNSCREEN!”

Jackman’s rep says the Tony and Emmy winner is “okay now” following this latest procedure. (This type of skin cancer is very treatable, but must be caught early.) Following the other two procedures, Jackman urged fans to get themselves checked.

“Please don’t be foolish like me,” he wrote at one point. “And USE sunscreen!!!”

Another Basel Cell Carsinoma. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!
