The ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ rapper filmed footage for an upcoming music video  with performance artist Marina Abramovic.

Jay-Z has  rapping down to an art, and to prove it, he spent six hours on Wednesday as a  fixture in a New York City gallery.

The “Magna Carta Holy Grail” rapper, wearing a white button-down shirt and a  gold chain, performed bits of his new song “Picasso Baby” for six hours at Pace  Gallery in Chelsea.

Several social media users recorded the event, and caught glimpses of a  couple of famous guests. At one point Jay-Z circled around famed performance  artist Marina Abramovic.

Jay-Z apparently took time to interact with the audience, bringing in  several members of the crowd to dance with him.

Other famous faces that stopped by included Judd Apatow, artist Laurie  Simmons and “Girls” actor Adam Driver.

It’s an appropriate track to introduce in a gallery space. In “Picasso  Baby,” Jay-Z namedrops a number of artists aside from the titular cubist —  Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Jeff Koons among them.

The footage from the event will presumably be incorporated into a music  video for the single.
