Jenni Rivera‘s long awaited tribute album, 1969- Siempre (Part 1) En Vivo Desde Monterrey, was released today. It contains 18 songs performed by Jenni during the last concert she gave in Monterrey, just before her untimely death.
The album also contains a 5-video DVD, along with typical norteño-banda tracks as ‘Que Me Entierren Con La Banda,’ ‘Rosita Alvirez,’ ‘Vida Prestada,’ ‘Clave Privada,’ ‘El Moreño,’ and ‘Se Les Peló Baltazar,’ among others. It also contains the single ‘Dos Botellas De Mezcal’ released last month.
You can also find acoustic tracks like ‘Que Ganas De No Verte Nunca Más,’ ‘Porque Me Gusta A Morir,’ ‘Señora,’ and ‘A Que No Le Cuentas.’ The 1969- Siempre (Part 1) En Vivo Desde Monterrey DVD will also contain a section with fan reactions, clips from her final rehearsals, and ‘Mariposa Del Barrio,’ a look at Jenni’s hometown.
Jenni‘s family is also holding a tribute concert on December 9, exactly a year after her death. This album was produced by her brother, Juan Rivera.
