Joe Jonas is a single man once again — he and girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler have broken up before hitting the two-year mark together.
The two of course “mutually decided” to end it, his rep told Us Weekly. Things are “amicable”! They’re still friends! Because that’s always how it goes when people break up!
There were allegedly signs of tension at a party in June, a source told the magazine, noting that Jonas posed for pictures by himself and then “stormed inside.”
A Radar Online source made it just sound bad all the way around: “Joe has been unhappy for a long time now,” the source said, “and she was one of the main reasons.”
Hardly amicable, that.
At the very least, it wasn’t the #truelove Eggenschwiler thought it was back in April when she tweeted out a shot of them seriously kissing. Hey, at least the 30-year-old model-turned-graphic designer got out before she had to buy her boy-toy a 25th birthday gift.
The two, introduced by a friend, made it together for 20 months.
By the way, those who traffic in the gossip gutter might recall Blanda as the lady rumored to be behind that alleged sex tape that, if it ever existed — and his rep said at the time that it didn’t — never made the light of day.
Joe seems to be getting good at breakups these days: He and siblings Nick and Kevin busted up the Jonas Brothers last October.
Rumor had it that that split was amicable as well.
