The artist Juanes will enter the Hall of Fame at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) for his passion for helping children around the world, reported the pediatric center in a statement.
The chief executive of the MCH Foundation, Lucy Morillo-Agnetti said they are “very proud to recognize” this year-winning musician for the “work you do to ensure a better life for children worldwide.”
Recognition for the singer will be held on October 12 at the gala “Diamond Ball 2013”, which performs the MCH Foundation.
The gala will also include the donation by the design firm Cruciani, 600,000 of its popular bracelets that celebrities have worn,like Beyonce, Heidi Klum , Dita Von Teese, Rita Ora and Bar Rafaeli, among others.
Cruciani Juanes will also deliver a limited edition bracelet to celebrate your donation through the campaign “Together For The Children” (Juntos por los niños), the statement said.
Named after the first president of the MCH Foundation, the Hall of Fame International Pediatric Ambassador David M. Walters was created in 1986 to recognize and honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the health and happiness of children anywhere in the world.
