Justin Timberlake Being Awarded 2016's "Decade Award" At This Year's Teen Choice Awards

Justin Timberlake had better make room in his trophy closet! The “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer has won 22 Teen Choice Awards in the past and the pop icon is set to receive one more very special honor at this year’s ceremony.

The ‘N Sync heartthrob will accept the Teen Choice Decade Award at this month’s 2016 Teen Choice Awards in celebration of his “constant evolution as an artist over the last 10 years,” Billboard reports.

The honor seems especially fitting as this year is the 10th anniversary of his critically acclaimed FutureSex/LoveSounds album, which brought us sultry hits like “Sexy Back” and “What Goes Around … Comes Around.” Since then, the innovative artist has produced countless chart-topping hits and successfully delved into the world of television and film.

It’s hard to believe more than 20 years have passed since a 12-year-old Timberlake, now 35, made his way into Hollywood with a stint on the Mickey Mouse Club before establishing himself as a major ‘N Sync hottie and catapulting to fame with movie roles, catchy singles, and even Saturday Night Live appearances.

The  2016 Teen Choice Awards take place Sunday, July 31, and will air at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
