Kanye West And Kid Cudi Working In New Collab Group “Kids See Ghost”

After a lengthy time away from the public eye, Kanye West is finally stepping back into the spotlight with a promise of new music.

On Thursday, as part of the new round of tweets that has invigorated his account over the past week, West made a significant announcement: that he has two new collections of songs ready, one with former collaborator Kid Cudi, a collaboration he’s titling Kids See Ghost.

“My album is 7 songs, June 1st,” he tweeted. “Me and Cudi album June 8th. It’s called Kids See Ghost. That’s the name of our group.”

The new albums would be his first release since 2016’s The Life of Pablo.

West first logged back on to Twitter last Friday after clearing out his social media profiles back in May 2017, part of his disappearance from public life following his hospitalization and sudden cancellation of the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour in November 2016.

After taking his accounts out of hibernation, he’s posted quite a bit in the last week, beginning with the retweet of a welcome back message from Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey.
